  • Friday get together
    Relaxing evening on the balcony.
We have the upstairs at the American Legion to meet and relax Friday night at 6:30. Music will be supplied at 7:30-10:30 by Barb Neitering's daughter Jessica and Kyle, but no food unless you go downstairs for dinner. Please be aware that Fridays are typically very busy at the Post and parking will be at a premium (!).   If you are staying in town I strongly suggest taxi service to-and-from and there is additional parking at the YMCA parking lot nearby.
  • Saturday Golf Outing
    Great get together for all
Rich Kelly is looking into an new golf location for  SATURDAY.  Grand Haven was booked. Well, once again Mr. Kelly is spot-on with this program, it's at Oak Ridge Country Club at 10:00 AM.   It took some finagling, but he got 'er done.   Nice course for those that have never played it.   Please visit the Class Website for contact information with Spitz for reservations to this event.   A number of people have already signed up and it promises to be a great time!
  • Saturday/Non-golfers:

Nothing formal has been set up, with the thought being that during Friday night people are going to be making their own plans (and visiting Pfaff's for some pain relief).   Personally, I'll be lookin' for a good Bloody Mary somewhere.   One suggestion was a miniature golf challenge.   There are three nearby locations;  one by Chinook Pier, another at Yogi Bear Campground (south of G.H. on U.S. 31 just south of M-45) and Craig's Cruisers (north of G.H. at Pontaluna Rd., and they also have go-carts and a large video arcade).

  • Our Reunion
The reunion will be Saturday night (times TBA) at the American Legion next to "Butches Burrito" on the channel. It should be a great time for all.  Dress Code:  Beach attire (grass skirts and coconuts encouraged)... or anything you will feel comfortable in.   Bring in your 1970 Blue & Gold Yearbooks for signatures as we didn't actually receive them until after we graduated and it was difficult to get any signatures then.   We will be having a 50 - 50 Raffle during the evening to help replenish the coffers (unless someone can get us a grant from Washington).   What we will be floating past everyone is the concept of an annual class reunion.   This will be a simple gathering at a now unknown location on a specific Saturday during the year with no organization other than you showing up.   For those of you that for what ever reason that we regret cannot join us this year, please let us know your input on this.   If there is a specific time-frame you think works best for you, please contact us with that information.   We would also greatly appreciate your input, whether you are attending or not, about the current website as it will be ending shortly after the reunion.   Any suggestions in order for us to best keep in touch will be considered.
